I read that too, I was just oversensationalising the matter Apparently she owned up to it before taking a doping test too. Brownie points, I guess.

Its a bit shit that the south american teams had to get to the final in a U-20 tournament for a u-23 tournament. 2-3 years of players you cant use to qualify can be used in the final tournament

Will try to catch some, but have no idea about the schedule yet, if there is Handball or any other competition where Danes can win that has priority, would also like to see US womens team in football and US men basketball.
Favour Spain to win this, Brazil team is quite strong but Spain, well they are Spain, largely same team that won the u-21 last year, rather convincingly.

Brazil and Spain won't be having it all to themselves. I expect Mexico and Japan to show up pretty well. Oh, and then there's Uruguay.

Best front two at the Olympics. No discussion. The rest of the squad is great as well. Coates and Rollin at CB, Polenta (beast ) at leftback. Lodeiro and Lil Kratos (Egidio Rios) in the center, etc. No mugs here.

Surely there was a better option up front than GB have picked.

Fuck Brazil's squad is ridiculous. Also Gio is the only player on the Mexican team that doesn't play in Mexico.

Our friendlies before this tournament have been poor, but at the same time we weren't playing with like 3/4 of our best U21 players and without the over-23 players. So I'm not sure how well our team will do. Realistically, I expect us to finish 2nd in the group which will put us against Spain in the quarterfinals probably.

Ahli trio Mohamed Abou-Treika, Ahmed Fathi and Emad Meteb will be forced to leave the Egypt Olympic team after the group stage of the London Games.

The senior trio was named in Egypt’s final roster for the Olympics, where the young Pharaohs will take on Brazil, New Zealand and Belarus on July 26, 29 and August 1.

But Egyptian champions Ahli have a home fixture against Berekum Chelsea in the Champions League a few days after the Belarus game in Glasgow.

“I have an agreement with Hany Ramzy (Olympic team coach) to keep the three players for the game against Zamalek (July 22),” Ahli boss Hossam Al-Badri told FilGoal.com.

“We also agreed that the trio will return to Ahli after the last group game in case Egypt qualified for the next round.”

Well that sucks.
