That's my summer ruined.

I can honestly see why he's leaving, but only Juventus and Man City are after him. Juventus with all due respect is a step below simply because the league has dipped over the last 5 years and Man City he'll be up against Balotelli, Aguero and Tevez. I hope the best for him, but can't see him having the season he just had for us again.

What do you mean? I have no hate towards him, I always knew he won't sign on just wanted to live in a dream until he speaks out.Theo Filippo wrote:I thought you were better than that.19Jones19v wrote:I can honestly see why he's leaving, but only Juventus and Man City are after him. Even if he stays and leaves next season, it will be tough to see him bag 30 goals again with hardly any break this summer.

No, doing a Merson bashing leagues and saying every club in that league (Despite some of those clubs being 10 times the club we will ever be) is a step down.

I like the Italian league and I'm definitely not dissing it either, but realisticly what world class striker would leave a team in the top 4 in the EPL to join Juventus?Theo Filippo wrote:No, doing a Merson bashing leagues and saying every club in that league (Despite some of those clubs being 10 times the club we will ever be) is a step down.
Juventus, Ac Milan, Roma, Inter and might I say Lazio are bigger than our club, but that doesn't mean they're all better. And I'm not one to be saying the EPL is the best.

Yeah, I can't see why he'd join a team that didn't lose last year either..
Obviously if it was between City and Juve, City every time, but come on.

Juventus have a better chance of winning the Champions League than Arsenal, would be a step up.

Look on the bright side, he really only had one fantastic year for Arsenal. Get the money while you can before he gets injured as per usual.

That is absolute fucking bullshit. They might be a more historic club but right now, Arsenal are a bigger club. People can bring out fucking encyclopedias arguing your case but I wouldn't even discuss.
Money wise we are bigger, co-efficient wise we are bigger, fanbase we are bigger.

Can he sign a contract with Arsenal at the end of next year? Seems like a dumb question.
