Not sure what you mean about Zhirkov, wasn't claiming he was world class or anything I just said I liked him and he was good. Was clearly exaggerating about Obertan, I just liked him. AVB not leaving Porto was far from an absurd statement, they made him and Porto an offer too good to turn down.

Why do stadiums in Italy always look so empty?

Few reasons: attendance is shit, many stadiums are decrepit, and clubs don't own their own stadiums in Italy (with the exception of Juve), because of bullshit rules so there's less incentives for clubs to renovate their stadiums, considering any renovation would come out of the club's pocket. As a result, most stadiums don't have a fan-friendly atmosphere, and are outdated.

FIGC said they were getting rid of it in favor of a "club system" that was less stringent.
