it's an american idiom. i always hear it in movies but never cared for what it meant. i just found out the meaning/usage of it from a friend a few weeks ago.

I wouldn't class myself as supporting them, they're just my favourite Italian team. I personally don't know anything about there fans, I just like the way they play and the players they have.

the way they play involves kicking people in the back of the neck, surrounding the referee asking for PK favors, cry blasphemy at every offsides call, and purposely throwing games when it will end up hurting their rivals. their antics are worse than barca's
