Hearing Juventus will try to get Villa in the January transfer window.

How much was spent on Isla and Asamoah? seems like they were rather unnecessary if it meant they couldnt afford a striker, also no chance villa will be sold in january, maybe in the summer but its a big maybe.

They're currently on co-ownership. Asamoah was definitely not unnecessary, and Isla has barely played this season.

It's not that we didn't have the money for a forward; it's that we didn't want to spend 30m+ on either Llorente or van Persie, considering how much money we spent in the previous summer. It would've been an idiotic move economically.

We can still win the title with the squad at our disposal, we just won't do that well in the CL.

Idk how Asamoah and Isla are unnecessary signings even if it meant they could afford to buy a striker. They both fit into their system perfectly + Bendtner is the best.


Btw, why would they buy Villa? Aren't they pretty much just waiting for Llorente to run down his contract so they can have him at the end of the season?
