Milan did nothing for 80 minutes, and needed a red card and PK to get

great performances by derossi, lamela, and totti. our keeper goicoechea had a mixed game. made a lot of good saves but conceded a PK. he did the best any keeper could do to try to save those 2 goals. but it was him who conceded the PK in the first place

immature handball by marcos, but red was extremely harsh. it wasn't a clear cut scoring opportunity to warrant a red. and now we'll be without our best defender (and our season's best performer imo) away vs napoli. cavani's going to have a field day against burdisso-castan. like i said, bittersweet win

i've turned down a PK before. i was on a hattrick and my teammates wanted me to take it. but i decided to let my teammate take it since he assisted my 2nd goal when he could've scored himself

Is what you're saying about Jovetic true? Or did you make it up. I noticed he scored a penalty before hand.

i'm just guessing since i had a similar experience of turning down a PK/hattrick

i swear. roma must be one of the most hated teams by the FIGC. every week we're always screwed by officiating. so yeah, bottom line, we won 4-2, but meh, now we don't have marquinhos for the next game vs napoli... sucks to be a Roma fan sometimes

i hate using that term, but if it happens repeatedly, especially 2 matches in a row, with several incidents a match, what possible other explanation can be offered? i'm still not saying it is though. 3rd time's the charm. if something were to happen to us vs napoli, i'm calling shenanigans

It's just being unlucky, we had 2 correct goals ruled out in consecutive weeks, doesn't mean the refs are against us. Heh, you'd look silly if you win thanks to refs next time

Definitely. It's crazy how far he has come in little under 12 months. In January I was watching him play in the Copinha (U18 Brazilian tournament), and now he's a key member of a top Serie A side. Future Brazilian NT Material for sure. So talented.

definitely better than Castan, and Castan just got his 1st cap for the selecao this season

IMO Marquinhos is our best player this season. even better than 10-goals-in-12-apps Lamela

we can win games without Lamela, De Rossi, or Stekelenburg. but in games where we don't play Marquinhos, we look fragile

no one expected him to be THIS good (just look at his starting Fifa/FM/PES ratings). burdisso/castan were supposed to be our starters, with Marquinhos supposedly being a "class below" Castan. i'm very excited for his future. we haven't had a defensive player with such potential in ages
