Apparently AC Milan made an approach for Alexis Sanchez from Barca, it was rejected though.

Cavani's agent claims Cavani wants to leave Napoli.
Mino Raiola: "Cavani, if he could, he would leave immediately, but the president is not easy in these matters."

Suarez would tear shit up at Juve.
It'll be sad over the next 2 years or so to watch that Napoli team that was so fun to watch be broken apart. Lavezzi is already gone.
I am anxious to see Borini play, though. Hopefully he plays against Roma tomorrow.

Yeah Napoli in the next 2/3 years will be sad to see those 3 gone, shame really.

Gazetta would have you believe that Kaká might be on his way back to AC Milan.

Re: Serie A 12/13
don't you live in NY? it's a 4-5 hour drive lol
round trip with inevitable traffic that's 10+ hours of driving for a single football match. no thanks
even if it were derby della capitale i wouldn't go. the football atmosphere in america is disgusting. few years ago when i saw inter v milan @ boston, i saw more rooney jerseys than serie A jerseys. and the players had to line up to the american national anthem instead of the italian national anthem

i mainly wanted to see ibra and kaka but they had both just left the week before to barca and madrid, respectively. so i already felt ripped off in that aspect already
both teams were playing their 1st team
milito/pato/ronaldinho/cambiasso/zanetti/maicon/nesta/pirlo/gattuso/etc. lucio made his debut. quaresma also made an sub appearance LOL

Re: Serie A 12/13
Yeah, seeing Kaka and Zibra would've been solid. At least you got to see some other stars/legends.
I probably would've gone to some pre-season matches this year but Juve ended up cancelling their U.S. tour, which is understandable now that the Supercoppa is in China...
Btw, weren't Roma supposed to go and train at the ESPN facilities near Disneyland? Or did that happen already?

they have to build it first lol. right now it's just an abandoned lot. it's some sort of big marketing plan to attract american football fans

Re: Serie A 12/13
probably similiar team we put out against lubin
stekelenburg will need to prove a point since we're looking into signing julio cesar to replace him, so he'll be playing as much as possible so zeman can re-evaluate the GK situation. we signed destro and piris but they're not going to fly in for the US tour in time. i don't think de rossi is back from vacation yet. tachtsidis is zeman's favorite new toy so he's going to play as much as possible this summer. bradley as well, since he's a popular figure here in the states. lamela/osvaldo/bojan played well against lubin and should expect to start again to develop their chemistry. totti will come off the bench as usual as will lopez
stekelenburg
rosi castan burdisso taddei
pjanic tachtsidis bradley
lamela osvaldo bojan
bench: lobont; lucca romagnoli heinze angel; florenzi verre marquinho; lopez totti

The team they played against Rapid Vienna and Lichdfhsdfkj in Chicago last week were both rather strong. I'd expect another strong team tonight.

our defense is poor so i expect suarez to score against us. time to step up stekelenburg if you want to stay at Roma next season
castan had an excellent debut game so hopefully he can repeat such performance again today

i didn't read much into liverpool but i saw the squads and for some reason his name wasn't there (could just not be updated). borini also never officially took his vacation after euro 2012 yet but it seems like he wants to waive it so he can train with liverpool during pre-season

Re: Serie A 12/13
Adam Morgan will probably start. Borini is training with the squad so I would expect him to play some part, even if it's as a 75th minute sub.
I would expect us to start with something like:
-Jones-
-Flanagan-Skrtel-Wilson-Enrique-
-Aquilani-Spearing/Adam-Gerrard-
-Sterling-Morgan-Cole
But I'm not sure, more players have come into the team since our last game.
