Well the article was a little more in the "Liverpool were right and are a great club with steel and unity (wtf), and Sigurdsson was just wrong" mould. I think you're right though, if you look at it objectively Spurs are willing to pay more, have better players in most positions, have an owner with substantial resources at his disposal and have done better than Liverpool for the past 3 seasons. Seems like a no brainer to be fair.

It couches extremely critical sentiment in token questions. Suggesting he should be grateful for what Liverpool offered and sign for them rather than moving to a Top 4 Club who are offering more money. It's insulting to the man to say things like this
