According to a press release made by his club, Gromstad died from an accidental fall at a nearby construction site.[5]
Erm, why the fuck would he be at a building site?

Um.... ever hear of accidents? Sometimes they happen and it is too early to judge anything here.

Apparently it is being treated as suspicious.
The missing Stabæk player Marius Grom Sun City was found dead Monday morning after a fall accident at a construction site in downtown Oslo.
22-year-old was reported missing Saturday night, and family, teammates, support, friends and volunteers participated in the weekend in the exploration operation.
-It is with sadness that we have received the message that Tor Marius is dead, and our warmest thoughts are with his family. This is a very difficult day for all concerned, says general manager of Quotes, Hallgeir Åndal.
Players, coaches and employees of the club was this morning informed of the death.
-We will gather for a memorial service later today. Now it is important that we are together, and taking care of each other. On behalf of Stabæk I want to thank everyone who helped in the exploration campaign, and who support us and show care in a difficult time, says Åndal.
Quotes ask media to respect that no family, players and support staff will be contacted or charged with inquiries now.
The police suspect that it is a crime behind the death.

You're right, that's a possibility.
You would wonder why he would be at a building site though. You don't just wander into them and die by accident.

This may sound stupid, but maybe it's like in those films that you see, he went to stand up high on something, to relax and see a better perspective of the world, chill out. And he slipped on something? It is a building site.

I suppose only locals would know if an accidental death in this situation is reasonable. The city over here that I most recently is a city where everything is pretty much in walking distance and I walked past serveral construction sites over the last couple of years. If alcohol was somehow involved it might take time for the true story to come out.

I feel that being Norwegian and all I should have known about this...
There's roughly 1 murder per year in Norway, and they always make it into a huge thing. I've been watching the news and this is the first I heard of it, so it has to be accidental. Anything else would be shocking.
