Impressive. You should try Falcao. 150 goals in 3 years baby

Almost every striker plays better with Poacher settings to be honest.

depends how you play and what your tactics are like
i've never in my entire FM career (including fm09, fm10, fm11) had any success with any poacher
i tried using Gilardino as a poacher, didn't work. i ended up using him as a target man. i tried using Paloschi as a poacher, didn't work i ended up using him as a deep lying forward. i tried using Falcao as a poacher, didn't work. i ended up using him as a complete forward

Gouffran is so underrated, I want to make Bordeaux a European powerhouse but I wanna do with with Gouffran having some part to play.
He's scored 13 goals this season and on FM his finishing is 11

If you are ever looking for a cheap and fantastic ball winner look no further than Andile Jali. Sensational work ethic and fantastic at getting the ball. Cost £350k too.

What does a Trequestia do and who plays well in that role?

They are playmakers. However, they play this role just behind the 'main' forward as a second-striker.
Del Piero, Totti and I guess Kaka.

It's similar to an attacking midfield player, but basically doesn't do any sort of defending. Basically the link between the midfield and the more advanced strikers.
If you play with three forwards, I recommend you have the center forward play the treq role (assuming he is suitable for that role), while the others play as poachers or advanced forwards. Or you can have an attacking mid play the role too with two forwards up top.
Messi is the best Treq I can think of. Just look for someone with high attributes in the following...
First Touch
Passing
Technique
Finishing
Creativity
Anticipation
Off the Ball
Composure
Flair
Agility

Trequartista doesn't take advantage of Messi's dribbling ability.

Meh, Genie Scout is too easy also. You just look up the players with highest CA/PA and buy them. What's the point of even having scouts then?

Bryan Ruiz is probably the best Trequartista I've ever seen in the game.

He might if you give him more creative freedom, and 'runs with the ball'.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
After winning promotion with Southend, at the beginning of October, doing fantastic, 9th in League One, and Millwall, 17th i the Championship, sack Nick Barmby and enquire for my services. Their finances aren't very good but I join anyway. Release the high earners and have a bit of budget to play with for January
Infact my first 9 games i went unbeaten, changed the morale completely, now I haven't won in 5 games Andy Keogh is out for the season which is a blow. Was imporant to my attack with Liam Feeney and Hameur Bouazza playing on the wings either side of him. I have Emmanuel Frimpong on loan anchoring and a midfield duo of Liam Trotter/Darren Pratley which is reliable.
Just signed a 17-year old Northern Ireland regen for £150k, is good enough to start for lower Championship sides

John Fleck is another fine example of a Trequartista. On FM that is.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
when i think of trequartista's i think of static classic #10's who can create plays and score
like totti, del piero, and ronaldinho
i don't know why FM insists that trequartistas need good agility, doesnt make sense to me

Agility is important for on and off ball movement. If they have high agility, they can change direction well in their movement. It's good for opening up spaces in the opposition defense or splitting defenders the way Messi does with his quick change of direction on the ball.
