RIP my FM12 Roma save. i started a new save with Schalke

totti finally retired in 2015 so i guess it was time for me to leave as well lol. 3 of my other players also retired after my last match in the CL final vs Napoli (Chivu, Pizarro, Bovo)

this is totti's stats the day before he retired (stamina 1 lol)

doing a Schalke save now. we'll see how it goes. if i hate it, i might go back to my Roma save and see if i can get to the point when de rossi retires before FM13 comes out

Does anyone know if FM backgrounds work on the Netbook skin? I hope they do because I want to use one.

NO ONE CAN STAND IN MY WAY AS BORDEAUX.

Except for PSG and Lyon, the former being the first team to beat me, the latter being the only team ahead of me.

I've found some of my old FM tactics on a USB too, so I'm gonna have some fun with them. I remember one of them took me around 70 hours to perfect. oh god why

Did you get from Steam? Have a Mac? I had that problem once too (except it would uninstall). I just uninstalled everything (FM, Steam, and restarted my computer). Then I installed everything back and it worked. Just make sure you have a copy of your saved games and stuff.

    Positioning is not important. facepalm

Probably poacher but you could use target man because he is a bit slow to be a poacher and has good first touch and heading.

No, it really really isn't. In fact I would go so far as to say that it is totally and utterly irrelevant. A bit like you. I think you're mixing it up with 'Off the Ball.' Positioning is important for defensive players.

If you look at key attributes either acceleration or pace is one of them for poacher. A target man does not need pace.

I didn't say pace was crucial, just that it helps. It is easier to be a target man if you're slow than to be a poacher.

    positioning is for defensive positioning

off the ball is for offensive positioning

    Oh yeah, I agree.

If you have a slow poacher, it's best to set them with individual instructions to just sit on the edge of the box. lool

i might just do individual sliders with huntelaar

i'll make huntelaar a poacher but check the "holds up ball" checkbox and make him "run with ball" less often, how about that for a quasi-targetman-poacher

i've never had a striker with 20/20 finishing/offtheball so i want to see how many goals i can score with this guy in one season. i have 2 brilliant playmakers feeding him in jurado and holtby. the most goals i've scored in one league season is 35
