Ah, forgot about Abdennour. Sissoko would also be a possibility.

Was just about to post that. If we manage to keep RVP, it'll be a really good signing.

29% - Lukas Podolski has scored with 29% of his shots in the league this season, higher than the 21% converted by Robin van Persie. Signing.

The toughness of the EPL and the best defenders in world football make it hard for any striker to perform!!

"Hi folks, from the coming season I will play Arsenal FC. This change gives me the opportunity to play at international level in a top European club. I chose not to FC, but for this great opportunity in my sporting career. The decision for this step is not easy for me because the first FC Köln, the city and the fans are very special for me. I'll wear the FC always in my heart. We must now concentrate all the forces together and focus exclusively on the league. Regards, Poldi"

When Chamakh joined us he hadn't scored 100 career goals, he still hasn't scored 100, I knew a guy who stood far away from the Chamakh love crowd, which I was a part of, and said he was the worst striker Arsenal's ever had because of one thing.

No killer instinct, he didn't have a sense of where to be to score goals nor did he have any initiative to get there.

I think he doesn't want to be in the second division but doesn't want to 'betray' Koln fans by playing for another German team.

If that's true, BM. Looks like we have a stand-up gentleman heading our way. Really hope he wants to truly be a part of our club and history. I want to see that passion.

    Next season:

    Szczesny
    Sagna Mertesacker Vermaelan Koscielny
    Wilshere Song
    Walcott Podolski Chamberlain
    van Persie

Maybe Podolski will make PM feel less home sick, if not, switch PM and Koscielny and put Gibbs LB.

Attack - Podolski, Van Persie + New signings

Why would you want Djourou, Theo, Gerboué to stay without wanting Benayoun? All apart from Benayoun can suck my ballbag, they're horrific and Walcott wants 100k Official Arsenal FC Thread - Page 7 58503

IIRC Walcott is your second highest goal scorer this season. You can say what you like about him, but at least he chips in with vital goals, and a lot of assists, particularly with Robin Van Persie.

I'd be happy to keep Walcott, Gervinho (still think he'll come good) and Benayoun.

    Djourou can go though.

We have a huge squad to be honest, but we get so many injuries t seems like we have no one.

    Out:

    Almunia
    Squillaci
    Chamakh
    Benayoun
    Djourou
    Bendtner (Sad to see)
    Vela
    Santos

    In:

    Podolski
    New LB

    I'd keep Walcott.

Gervinho, Squillaci, Diaby, Djourou, Santos, Denilson, Chamakh and Park would all be gone.

Almunia's out of contract so he's effectively gone already.

    I'd have Gervinho at Liverpool.
