Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I hope we get 5th to be honest. Van Persie will leave, our owners will no longer have a stubborn spending season saved by Wenger, and we can be 'just another club' in the league; which will hopefully allowed our weak-minded squad to play with a little less strain and to fulfill high expectations.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
as i have said Persie is a shit finisher.. he had so many sitters in recent games that he has missed
if a proper finisher had the chances persie had they would have double the goals. today persie scored 2 but missed like 3 incredible chances that he should have scored.. he is always like that. i dont think he would be as successful in another team tbh especially since he wont be the focal point so probably wont get as many chances
once again i will get the same replies like "is this real life" or "" but every week i am proven right over and over again

Van Persie missed such an amazing chance for his hattrick, chested it and tried putting it through the legs of Ruddy but by it hit his the goalkeepers shin.
It could have been his greatest hattrick ever too.

Could have had a hat-trick on his final home appearance for Arsenal.

Van Persie has 30 league goals from 43 clear cut chances by the way. Which is pretty damn good.

Agreed, very good but people like Viva wont be happy until Persie is out scoring Messi.

It wasn't intentional if he did stamp, look how quick he is going.

No point in trying to find a scapegoat anyway, there are really no excuses for that performance. Really disappointed that Sagna's injured because he was starting to hit his best form of the past three seasons. Let's hope he comes back the same way he did from his last injury.

Strikers miss, it happens. Doesn't mean he is shit at finishing. Before this season Van Persie was never known for his finishing to begin with so not sure why you're making it seem like people have been saying he is a world class finisher his whole career.

This is something you should be used to as an Arsenal supporter or someone that has watched Arsenal play since 2005 (when the ability to hold onto leads started to happen regularly).
