Yeah but you can't have two defensive midfielders when you only have two central midfield roles in a team like Spurs
Sigurdsson will be able to partner Sandro/Parker in the middle, well and offer an attacking threat. If we're going to have both Parker and Sandro in midfield, Sandro would sit in the hole between midfield and defence.

Obviously doesn't have to be all of those things, just some combination. Could fill some of them with cheap experienced players like we've had before (e.g. Pizarro, Vieira, Hargreaves) doesn't really matter.
