van Nistelrooij
*I know its opinion based, but anyone NOT having Henry as the premiere striker of the decade is seriously misguided.

Ronaldo

If Ronaldo isnt ST then this is rediculous... top of all time in the WC so far and his goal to game is unreal for clubs and country. and all the clubs he has played for, not many can top that!... best ST ever and always will be
but then again I see there are loads of Arsenal fans here so it will probably be Henry and Bergkamp

His goals per game ratio can't touch Eusebio, No ones can for that matter.
Ronaldo is lower than Gerd Muller on both so technically one could argue he is better than Ronaldo and 2nd only to Eusebio.

I first thought Ronaldo, but seriously, this is for the decade, not what each player was at their best.

Okay, tell me his goal to games for the decade, then compare to others for the decade. (I actually don't know it)
Ronaldo was amazing at the 2002 World Cup though.

That's what people seem to forget with these polls. We're voting on the Team of the Decade. Thus, players have to have kicked a lot of ass between 2000 and 2010 to be considered. Ass kicked (or anus licked in kryo's case) before 2000 is irrelevant.

Yeah, looking at Ronaldo's scoring record between 2000 and 2010 isn't that impressive.
Ruud's is sexy.

Bergkamp's scoring record wasn't the most impressive but he was one hell of a player, made me jizz at times.

Cheryl Cole made me jizz 263 times during the decade. Why isn't she included in the poll?

I really don't understand how you can leave Thierry Henry out.

Can't believe no one has mentioned this guy.
Possibly the greatest striker, in the history of strikers.
An out an out goalscorer, that can destroy lives in an instant, with one kick of a football.
Ladies and gentlemen...
Wait, who am I kidding?
Scum of the internet, I present to you

Ronaldo was amazing at the 2002 World Cup though.
Since 2000 he played in 254 games and scored 141 goals which is .55 goals/game. Henry by comparison in the same time frame played in 443 matches and scored 249 goals or .562 goals/game.
Van Nistelrooij on the other had was better than both players in the same span. He played in 345 games scoring 226 goals or .655 goals/game.
Either way Henry and Van Nistelrooij have been the most prolific strikers running 2000-2010 without a doubt.

That's more impressive from Ronaldo than I thought.
Taking Henry's assists into account, then that's just amazing.
For me it has to be Ruud and Thierry.

Ronaldo's numbers would go up to .556 if I included his Paulista games and goals, but I didn't.
If you include Henry's assists it would be 443 games with 326 goals+assists or .735 contributed goals/game.
What's more amazing is that his contributed goals/game average is .861 if you just include his Arsenal years (excluding his first season where he scored 26 goals and had 12 assists).

Jesus, Henry really has to be first pick imo.
No one matches him in this decade.
