We aren't meant to know who to buy. We are just fans.

Kenny + the scouting team get paid large amounts of money to buy the right players. They get paid shitloads to find good players.

They have failed majorly on that part.

You just need that kunt Sterling involved in the first team more.. He is probably better than Downing already.

I agree. Really excited about him, but everyone keeps saying he's 'not ready'. Rolling Eyes

It's ok for the likes of Walcott, Rooney and Chamberlain to start really young, but when it comes to us ... not ready. Rolling Eyes

He looks ready to me.. Throwing them in the deep end is normally the best way, as long as you don't over play them like we had to with Wilshere.

Scott wrote:I can already picture Summer being absolutely shit, with next to zero signings. I mean, who are we going to get? Why would we buy another striker when we have Kuyt, Bellamy, Suarez and the 35 million man, Carroll? How can we justify turning Carroll into a permanent bench player next season? Why would we buy another central midfielder when we have the undroppable Gerrard, the irreplaceable Lucas in the middle, with Henderson, Adam, Shelvey and Spearing fighting for a place on the bench?

Kuyt will be gone. So will Maxi. If he can't get games, he will want out. Plus we need a new striker, because at the moment they are all under performing. We need a player to play alongside Lucas in midfield, and can easily replace him when he is out or we need to replace him.

I suppose if we're going to sign anyone, it's going to be a winger or a defender. Because, unless we cut our losses and get rid of some of the players we bought last summer, I can't foresee us buying players in positions we've already got in abundance.

We need an new winger, center midfielder and striker.

I predict Carragher to retire, and Coates to take his place on the bench, with Agger, Skrtel and Coates our main centre back choices. Perhaps we'll bring in another half-decent centre back due to Agger's chronic injuries. Wouldn't get my hopes up though, I mean, who's there to get?

Carragher contract runs out next year. Carragher being Carragher will likly not retire, and continue wanting games, despite being an total liability. Coates will get games in all cups, and should step in when Agger is injured.

I predict we'll keep hold of all of our summer signings. Lucas will be like a new signing and will slot straight back into the team, Gerrard will partner him in the middle, as he's undroppable. Adam, Henderson, Spearing and Shelvey will stay and fight for a place on the bench, though I can see Shelvey going on loan somewhere. Cannot see us bringing anyone into the fold.

I wouldn't be surprised if we sold some of the summer signings. Adam, Downing and Carroll on the "hit list"

Downing will stay and be a starter on the left next season, imo. I'm unsure on Maxi, though I have a feeling he'll stay too. Same with Kuyt. Every season we Liverpool fans think we'll sell Maxi and Kuyt, but we never do. If we're going to bring in a player, it'll be a winger. Or, at least, it better be. Wouldn't be surprised if we bought a Premier League winger though. Maybe raid Swansea for Dyer. That's the best we'll probably get. Sterling should be promoted to first team.

Can't see any change in our striker situation. Suarez will start every game, Carroll will start the occasional game, swapping with Bellamy and Kuyt.

I don't think Kuyt and Carroll will be here next season.

Sorry for the long post, but my point is, who the fuck are we going to buy? Not as simple as people seem to make out.

    One game means nothing.

our amazing fans will start saying he is shit if we don't win. We can't expect him to be like lucas

brb expecting 17 year old to be the one to change our season.

You're not bringing him in to change your season. facepalm

You bring him in to experience first team football, which is what he should be getting because he's class.

If any of your fans think he's shit they need shooting.

Well obviously but that won't stop the herds of rawk fans saying he is good enough to do it.

It won't stop them expecting him to make a direct impact.

It won't stop them booing him when it turns out they were wrong.

Once the rawk fans start saying it then it will spread to the fans who go to games.

Then it will be boo boo boo.

What would you all think if we signed Dempsey in the summer? While many would write him off as another Downing, Dempsey has had more than one good season in the premiership. A Dempsey-Suarez partnership while not ground breaking would be much much better than what we have now.
