Samaras' goal record in the premiership is similar to Jutkiewicz' in the Championship. Samaras was often a sub. Also consider his record in Holland. Samaras isn't even as good as Stokes. Jutkiewicz would not make our bench.

I'd have to dig up old EA post to prove it but a common point of discussion between the Mexican fans was that Juarez was incredibly average with Pumas, but was super human for Mexico. It's something we didn't understand, the fact he is still on the nation team despite being terrible for Zaragoza is because he does well with the national team. The same is for Gio, can't get a game at Tottenham but is incredible for Mexico.

That is a strong squad right there. They aren't hurting in depth on the bench either and have lots of young talented players to promote. Their youth team is the best in Poland.

And the squad was even stronger before with Komorowski, Rybus and Borysiuk. Legia got quite the transfer kitty off those 3 players, and once they secure Champions League spot, I trust they'll invest in the summer, if they even deem they need too.

Ljuboja wasn't a has-been in Ligue 1, he was a good player for seasons, his contract ran out and due to his age his value dropped and there was probably no point in his old club resigning him.

In Warszawa, he has since adjusted well and has a great partnership going with Radovic (another player whom Legia has had to tell clubs to fuck off for) and while one could say the reduced quality of the Ekstraklasa compared to Ligue 1 is the reason he is doing well, it doesn't explain him doing even better in Europe than in the league.

Radovic doesn't even have a Serbian cap at 28.

We have something like the fourth highest international-to-player ratio in Europe. And I have seen Ljuboja so don't tell me my opinion is redundant. He's shit.

A team could have much less internationals (or regular internationals anyway) and have a much better team as those players aren't internationals due to their national team being of a high standard.
