Sturridge is better than Walcott but not better than Gervinho.
So he would not even be a starter in our strongest XI with Gerv and Chambo.

Walcott is awesome. In a team with a more direct approach he would be simply terrific.

    I am.
If we got STurridge, no way in hell would he start as a winger when we have Gervinho and Ox.
If he's going to play then it's when RvP is injured or rested.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could be handed a £100 million transfer war chest this summer, according to The Telegraph.

It was thought that Wenger would be given a £50m budget to rebuild after a disappointing season but the club's main shareholder Stan Kroenke appears to have had a change of heart.

A club source described the amount that would be made available as, "between £50m and £100m".

There have been doubts raised over whether Kroenke has the necessary funds available to pour into the club, as the American businessman is also currently negotiating the purchase of the LA Dodgers baseball franchise.

The Arsenal Supporters Trust (AST) recently demanded to know why the club had failed to reinvest the full £50m received from player sales in the summer, and there has been disquiet among the terraces over the club's perceived lack of transfer activity in recent years.

Arsenal currently sit in fourth place in the Premier League, and are precariously placed level with Chelsea on both points and goal difference as they chase Champions League qualification.

The Gunners have also already crashed out of both domestic cup competitions this season and they face a huge fight to turn around a 4-0 deficit in their Champions League second-leg tie against AC Milan at home.

If Wenger is handed the aforementioned sum, it would represent something of a surprising devlopment given the club's fiscally prudent policies to date since Kroenke took control of the club 10 months ago.

    Same.

But I do agree with the Walcott comments.. if all he had to do for a team was run down the field and chase the ball then finish. [like Torres did 3-4 years ago with Liverpool, hoof-ball nation] He could definitely produce.

He's just shit at everything else. It's amazing a player that has been in our system for years still doesn't understand how to succeed with our style.
