My write up after the Utd game: 
What an atrocious performance, we have some real fkn issues...
Let's start with the midfield - it's awful (including Gerrard).
We play far too deep with no urgency meaning out forward line is always isolated. Our midfield has almost no desire to get forward and help out - Gerrard for me sits far too deep nowadays - he's at his best linking with strikers, playing 1-2's and driving into the box, he really needs to sort his sh*t out.
I also doubt his abilities as captain, today I saw him shouting at Spearing for a misplaced pass when just earlier he screwed a pass to put Suarez through on goal (early in the match when Evra & Rio had that collision) - a great opportunity missed.
Moving forward, Suarez is not a centre forward & should play up front on his own - he needs a partner. I see Suarez as more of a similar player to Rooney - a second striker who plays behind a more pure striker and who can link with the midfield. Ideally we need a striker in the Welbeck/Hernandez mould, Bellamy will do for now.
I also have a problem with Jordan Henderson - to me he is nothing more then a passenger, Charlie Adam should start ahead of him, Adam has been our best midfielder this season.
I am after today's match starting to doubt Dalglish, we have absolutely no ideas going forward, tactics and team selections are terrible and so were his summer (and lack of winter) buys. I have said this on another forum before - we are defensively set up like Mourinho's Chelsea and our attack often reminds me of the Hodgson days - I have yet to see his promised pass and move philosophy bar 2 games last season (his buys certainly don't suit this style). I still can't believe we got rid of Aquilani.
I also want to express my disappointment in Enrique today - he seemed almost scared/nervous of Valencia, so much so he did not get forward once. I really wanted to see him beast Valencia, TBF though Valencia is a fkn animal, even more so then Enrique.
