Stormed the Champions League on a couple of occasions, with the hardest run to the final both times. Smashed the Premier League in 2008/9, only to narrowly lose out to the best Man United team in years who have many dodgy referee decisions along the way. Somehow I can't ever see us hitting those heights again with Dalglish. I'm not sure why. I feel like, if we ever got into the Champions League again with Kenny, we'd be knocked out again in the qualifiers or the group stages.

Benitez is in our hearts, but we can't take 'the grass is greener on the other side' view and wish for him to be back. However juicy it is, imagining him with FSG's transfer budget. He did fuck things up for us at times and did some really baffling things. It's almost as if we're only remembering the good times.

He was a Liverpool fan all his life until we got to year 9. Then his 'grandfather died' and apparently told him to support Chelsea. He literally turned up to school in a Chelsea kit with Vernon on the back. It was like ...... oh my god.
