I am truly surprised that no effort is being made from the government to save Rangers to be entirely honest. It's a fairly big part of Scottish culture these days.

Would it be a bad thing to have SPL clubs in the English league system?
Just have them start somewhere in the middle of the english system, like create a new conference for SPL clubs, with promotion to the Blue Square North and South.

At first it will be hard but in time the league will become more competitive, as I've said already, the reason teams like Aberdeen have not been able to compete is because of Rangers financial doping. Rangers have brought Scottish football to it's knees and everyone will be better off without them.
