Two years is plenty of time for things to change. Two years ago I predicted that the SPL would be destroyed by Rangers being kicked out of it (the SPL no longer exists), that Celtic would be devastated by the impact of Rangers leaving (they've just been eliminated from the UCL twice before the group stage), that other clubs in the SPL would suffer severe consequences (Hearts were deducted 15 points and relegated last year) and that Scottish football at the highest level would become an embarrassing procession where Celtic clean up with no competition (last year they finished 29 points clear).
Meanwhile Rangers continue to progress up the Leagues, pissing every one of them and will almost certainly be in the Scottish Premiership next season. They retain all of their history, they retain a lot of their players and they retain Ibrox as their home stadium.
Get rid of the catholics? Didn't realize it was such and openly accepted view of life.
Only a small number of fans think that way but it's still awful.
