Just because you're biased towards your team's players doesn't mean everybody else is.

Crouch and Bent aren't Harry's players. I'm not biased towards or against any players. I've proven that.

He adds more to the team though, it's why Chicharito isn't playing alot latelyChé Guayaba wrote:Bent's 9 goals to Welbeck's 6 doesn't lie.Kuled wrote:The majority of you picking Bent over Welbeck depresses me.

Scott Parker adds a lot to a team but I wouldn't want 11 Scott Parkers starting.

I was referring to Crouch and Defoe. Yea, Crouch isn't his anymore. But he was for a long time. Why else would you think he would pick Crouch?
Anyway, I remember your little Matt Fryatt campaign last season. Hard to imagine a more blatant case of homerism.

A) I don't support Hull City
B) Obvious trolling was obvious
C) I criticise players like Lampard and Gerrard often while everyone overrates them.

'Cause good ol' 'Arry likes it when they get it up quickly to the big man up top.

Really? Who's bandwagon did you jump to this year?

I don't support anyone, I don't have time to go to games.

Watch Tottenham play football, he won't play hoof ball unless Crouch plays. Since Crouch left we've played it much more on the deck, and many have suggested we've played the best football in the Prem (including Sir Alex).Ché Guayaba wrote:'Cause good ol' 'Arry likes it when they get it up quickly to the big man up top.
Defoe is a better goal poacher than the Bent IMHO. He only doesn't start for Tottenham, because VDV is undroppable when fit and he's worked really well with Adebayor.
The others have their own striker qualities. Rooney is overall the best striker obviously, Welbeck and Sturridge a pacey and can run past players. Each striker is different, and suits different systems better than others.
Anyway the point of this thread..
Hart
Walker, Dawson, Cahill, Cole
Lennon, Parker, Wilshere, Young
Rooney
Defoe
Without Rooney for the first two games, replace him with Crouch (say what you want, but he has a great record with England and plays well with Defoe)

Oh yea, I forgot you are an advocate of the absurd semantic difference between "support" and "fanship." Your favorite team is Hull. You don't have to "support" them (even under your ridiculous definition of the term) to have a bias towards them.
But like you said, obvious troll is obvious so...moving along....

See what I mean.
Walker, Dawson, Lennon, Parker, Crouch and Defoe.
This is exactly the type of shit Redknapp will do

Sorry for picking good players (except for Crouch, but he was a replacement for Rooney as nobody else would work as well with Defoe).Britfag wrote:See what I mean.

I'm not really a fan of them either. I've seen 2 games this season, not enough.
However, i'm a fan of Martinez, Leon Britton, Bryan Ruiz, Collocini and Koscielny.

Richards has been better than Walker this season.
Dawson isn't even first choice at Spurs.
Lennon is worse than Johnson, Young, Walcott, Sturridge and Chamberlain.
Parker I agree.
Crouch = hoofball and even he hasn't been great at Stoke.
Defoe isn't even first team at Spurs.
My estimation of you was high until you made that post, now you're on par with the likes of cheesy, mauro, Jela, The Maestro and Benitez.

I don't care how you thought of me. But, if you want to say that, you've been low on my list for quite a while, so makes no difference to me. We all have opinions.Britfag wrote:easley91 wrote:

Dawson has only JUST come back from a lengthy injury, with Kaboul becoming better and playing better he couldn't get in. And nobody gets in the team before King if he is fit to start. Dawson can also pick a pass from the back to either wing.
Walker has been impressive this season, and is still very young. He is great defensively and offers stuff going forward.
I picked Lennon because he already has an understanding with Walker, he tracks back as well, cuts inside and switches to the left to change things up. Sturridge for me should be a striker first and foremost.
I already stated why Defoe doesn't get into the first team at Spurs, but look at his goalscoring record this season even without starting many. Top of the list, if not then 2nd.
Only picked Crouch, because I couldn't see anyone else working as well with Defoe, and look at his goal tally for England, quite good to be fair and you can't argue with that.

See, Walker is not a good defender. He was at fault for the first 2 goals against Man City but barely anyone pointed that out.

One game. Have you seen the rest of his matches? and full 90 minutes and not just highlights? If you have, you'll have seen him be great at defending and improve game on game. Was excellent at defending on Monday, as was Dawson, oh and Parker, and King.Britfag wrote:See, Walker is not a good defender. Yeah, i've watched a fair few Spurs games. Walker is not a better defender than Richards.

I swear you're only going on at the side I picked, because it had a few Spurs players. This is a thread for your own matchday squads, so it's a matter of opinion. I haven't gone at you for your team have I? Whether you believe it or not, I am not being biased towards Spurs, I feel they would do a good job in the team and deserve to be there. Much like I feel Harry deserves to be the manager, and I know he would do a good job.Britfag wrote:Yeah, i've watched a fair few Spurs games. Walker is not a better defender than Richards.
Alright take out Crouch put in Tubbs, there no hoof ball. Happy?

Half of this forum is dumb. Did someone really put Scott Sinclair in their first 11?

Why would anyone assume Harry would play 442 when he's been working a 4-2-3-1 at Spurs with great effect.

Deserves to be in there over the rest of the overrated pricks that will probably play on the left wing.

Has he? I honestly haven't watched a single Spurs game this year, so I wouldn't know. If so, good on him. I take it back. I didn't know 'Arry was nuanced enough for that.

A good season in the championship and being a half-decent winger deserves a starting spot for England? He's not even the best winger for SwanseaScouser_Dave wrote:Britfag wrote:Half of this forum is dumb. Did someone really put Scott Sinclair in their first 11?
