Player wise they never turned out to be as shit as the current England team thoughLaurencio wrote:Grenade wrote:

England 2 best cb's = Lescott - King which isn't too bad.
Not really. Spain have the best senior players in the world as well as the best youngsters. You will never in your lifetime see Spain drop down to the level of the current English NT.
Football is the biggest sport in England and we produce the highest amount of footballers in Europe, but most of our players struggle to make it up to npower league 2 status.
That's what they said about Italy, France and Brazil.

When fit Rio's our best defender and he's still got it. Terry hasn't been that good this season so I'd pick Rio.

England have been better than Italy over the last 4 years, just look at the FIFA World Rankings. England have become hugely underrated in this country, almost as a backlash against the optimism that's surrounded previous tournaments.

Neither of the two should go to the Euros, as they've both been poor this season, but Terry's probably the worse of the two.

Rio will probably get to the point where he is worth inclusion, at the moment he simply hasn't been good enough though.
