What the fuck?
Court doesn't adjourn the trial of a murderer or something because he's got a big meeting coming up in his business

Unfortunately, your average murderer isn't the brave and heroic captain of the England national team.
It's all building up to him getting let off, which will be an even bigger fucking joke.

What is your problem with the decision? Why is it important that he face trial before the Euros?Dan wrote:Terry's trial has been adjourned until after the Euro's have finished.

FA have nothing to do with it.Benitez wrote:the FA
He's not a murderer, he's accused of a public order offence with no custodial sentence. Is it in the public interest that he faces trial sooner?Cam wrote:What the fuck?

Even if the courts let him off, the FA will probably do him anyway. Much lower standard of proof.Dan wrote:Cam wrote:What the fuck?

You can not seriously be suggesting that the FA have so much pull with the courts that they somehow forced a delayed sentencing. Because from where I'm standing you seem to indicate that the FA have managed to interfere with the legal process, which would be a much bigger scandal than any racist claims.

Well then aimed at the others then
Anyway. I don't see why they would adjourn until after the Euros, but fairly sure he will still be punished.

Judge said trial would normally be held earlier but footballing calendar & ChelseaFC/witness commitments taken into account.

Can't be touched by the FA until the courts case is finished. If that has been delayed then so will FA's own case against him.

Meh, can actually understand the Liverpool fans this time, what Terry said was much worse and there's evidence as well.

Can't really blame anyone outside of the court officials/lawyers/judge/whoever highly doubt Chelsea, Terry himself or the FA could interfere with the legal process.

There's really not a lot that can be done though. The only reason Suarez case was done so quickly was because the courts weren't involved. If they had been it would have been pretty much the same situation.

He hasn't got away with it yet. They've just left it for a later date.

It couldn't go through the courts. There was not enough evidence for a criminal case apparently.
