After you've holidayed click the 'Select All' button, then click the icon with the Envelope and it'll read them all.

time for leg 2 of the 2013 Champions League Semi Final

it's AS Roma vs Barcelona @ the Stadio Olimpico in Rome

(leg 1 finished 3-1 to Roma and can be found here, http://www.the-playmaker.com/t11742p750-the-football-manager-chat-thread#1346359). the winner will face Man Utd in the 2013 Champions League final. i actually cheated to help Man Utd progress to the final shifty. they were originally knocked out by Porto in the semi-final but i reloaded the game twice because I wanted to play/beat Man Utd, not Porto hehe

Barcelona need to win 4-2 or better (or 3-1 and PK's). i don't necessary need to win but it's a home match so i have to make a point. and besides, i don't like Barcelona Mob, here are the lineups:

The Football Manager Chat Thread! - Page 27 Romabarcalineups2

Totti is being rested but is available on the bench. Candreva is better suited to counter-attacking football so he will start instead, playing the Kevin-Boateng-role. Bertolacci is more creative than JoseAngel so those 2 will switch positions, where Bertolacci will have more passing freedom in a less congested area. other than that, Roma's tactics stay the same from last week

Dani Alves is suspended so there is no need for Lamela to play wide to track him. instead, his job today will be to cut off Pique's passing routes (which was Paloschi's job last week). today, Paloschi will focus on exploiting Barcelona's weakness on the left side of defense

FT!!!! Roma wins 3-1 again and progresses to the Champions League Finalllll, beating Barcelona 6-2 on aggregate run 2

The Football Manager Chat Thread! - Page 27 RomabarcaFT2

not much to it here, Lamela sat deep and was more efficient when playing further away from Pique, scoring two long range goals (deep lying forward, support). paloschi caught henrique napping and scored the third. (deep lying forward, attack). things were looking well and i was already 3-0 by 35min smug

...but then Cheatolona injured 3 of my players in a 10-minute span temper, forcing me into 2 mandatory substitutions before HT. all 3 injuries involved my fullbacks so i could no longer create anymore from that zone Dry Smile.... dirty barcelona...

The Football Manager Chat Thread! - Page 27 Romabarcainjuries

messi scored because i kept my injured WBR, Rosi on the pitch for too long. my playmakers were from the overlap, so i could no longer create further chances for the second half of the match. i played more rigid/defensively and switched from control to counterattack, gave Totti a cameo sub, and finished the match 3-1 clap.

THANKFULLY, i have 7 physios on my backroom staff:. Zuniga and Bertolacci are only out for a few days and will be back for the CL final. Rosi will miss the rest of the season but he's a backup player anyway. keeping Rosi on the pitch really worsened the injury i guess

plenty of resting time. 3 weeks until Roma plays Manchester United in the Champions League final bounce

    Barcelona to fucking good.

    15 games 55 goals and 4 conceded.

I'm playing as malaga and i'm 7 points behind Barcelona who have 43 points and i'm ahead of real madrid by 5 points.

I'm scoring a decent amount of goals but i'm conceding like a mother fucker.

    18 goals in 15 games.

The Wycombe board are soiling themselves, at the prospect of been promoted to the Championship and me going on an FA Cup run.

Any idea how to approach QPR away for the 3rd round?
