He's well and truly past it. I'm not quite sure why people like RR think he's such a brilliant player if playing in the middle, he takes up central positions when playing with us quite often and he seems to be even shitter playing against centrebacksTheo Filippo wrote:I thought dribbling would of come under technical ability
Its more like its the wrong player at a great club, how can a player be so (allegedly) great in the middle but so so poor out wide? I'm not sure how the position he plays in stops him from controlling a ball properly.
Whenever he plays for us, the players around him have a burden to cover him because he just doesn't do anything. Gervinho should take Arshavin's place on the bench

Arsenal starlet Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looks set to make his bow in senior
international football in a Euro 2012 audition at the end of this
month, according to The Mirror.
England face the Netherlands on February 29 in a friendly
rearranged from September last year and the 18-year-old is thought
to be on the mind of boss Fabio Capello as he starts to weigh up
his options for the tournament this summer.
The former Southampton man has stormed to success with the
Gunners of late after being fully introduced into the starting
line-up by manager Arsene Wenger.
Oxlade-Chamberlain grabbed his first two league goals for the
north London outfit on Saturday against Blackburn and England’s
Italian boss has apparently been discussing the prospect of the
attacker being in the squad to face the Dutch with his fellow
coaching staff.
After the game with Steve Kean’s side at the weekend, the player
told reporters: “Obviously it [England call-up] would be very nice,
but I have just got to keep my feet on the ground and take it step
by step.
“I am focusing on Arsenal at the moment, and am in the under-21
squad. All I can do is concentrate on what I am involved in.”

and by technical ability i meant like his technique
When? you got any video's of him doing it recently?

Our income (from transfers): £73,900,000
Total spending: £51,650,000
= £22,250,000
So we have this + the 30 odd mill we get every year as our budget...
Just sayin.

We could get some good players for £22m, wouldn't mind spending it on Vertonghen and Baines to finally sort our defence out.
Realistically that would never happen though.

I am not to keen on Vertonghen anymore. Kos and Vermaelen are the future!
I just hope we don't have a summer like the last one. I want us to get our transfers out the way asap.

Chamberlain is actually a lot bigger now than he was in September. Wenger must have made him do gym work before becoming a regular.
