His only mistake was taking off Chamberlain, which granted was a big mistake. Bar that, we played well I thought and should have been winning till he went off, then it went downhill. But who knows, Wenger said Chamberlain was on the verge of being injured so maybe it's true, we don't know.

Extremely pissed off when he came off though.

Just want to point out how disgusting it was of Arsenal fans to boo their own player and manager during the game, and to leave the stadium when there was only a goal in it. It's disgraceful, and it does not help matters.

I actually agree. Well, not the booing of the manager, they're entitled to express their discontent, but to do it through booing Arshavin was a terrible thing to do. One could argue that it cost us the game due the demoralising effect it must have had on him.

I don't even think Arshavin is THAT bad to deserve abuse from his own team teams supporters (Not that anybody does), he has shown some glimpses of good play this season (has a few assists) and you never know... he might have produced something if the fans did not act in such a terrible way.

He was just booed because he replaced Oxlade-Chamberlain. Fans got caught up in the moment. It was a pretty naive move from Wenger anyway. He surely must have been aware of the risk of making that substitution.

Arshavin was a fantastic footballer. There's no one who is that incapable of adapting to a new position. You don't go from being one of the best 15 players in the world playing centrally to a complete and utter shithouse while playing as a winger just because you're not versatile. He's lost a lot of his ability now. Even when he plays for his national team, he does an abysmal job.

I am not denying it was a bad decision but I just mean that Arshavin comes on or even somebody worse, the abuse from the fans was just uncalled for, maybe they were just boo'ing Wenger and not Arshavin... how would Arshavin know? Confidence destroyed before even touching the ball. And even boo'ing Wenger is totally disrespectful.

Because he's a weak and feeble Asian, just one cold stare from Tiote would destroy him mentally. Smile

I know that looking at Tiote would cause him to feint but he should get time against teams without players with dinosaur like faces.
