It would be cool if we could send shit there just incase there is life. But its like billions of years away or something.

Yeah, no way in getting there unless we travel at the speed of light.

But maybe by the time there is life we would have that technology.

I know this my sound strange but what if like people seeing UFO's and shit is like another advanced planet like ours? Checking up on our planet and the same could happen with us and this planet if there is ever life on there and we could be UFO's to them. You never know......

If there are alien UFOs visiting the planet, we would at least see a mothership in our solar system. Actually, the show "The Universe" had a whole episode dedicated to this. Basically, if there were an alien civilization coming our way, we would spot them before they even came into our solar system.

But what if they have light speed and shit. And can get there to here like that. With an invisible shield.

If they had the technology to travel solar systems with relative ease, we simply can't completely trust our obsolete technology.

So much for colonizing it though. None of our native plants would be able to live on there.

Also the lack of metals in that solar system mean that the planet would be poor for mining.
