Regarding Barry, his positioning is spot on. That's what allows him to compete at this level.

Dean wrote:Ahly will know this. I need a bit of clarification on it. But is it actually 'against' the rules to perform a 2 footed tackle? Like in the law book? I need to know 'cos it'll completely change my opinion on the matter.
Not specifically. Fouls are grouped in three categories...
Careless: Just a foul, no card
Reckless: Yellow card
Excessive Force: Red card
Two footed tackles are considered excessive force. Remember, a foul can still be called if you don't make contact.

We usually have low attendance in the cup, not just this game. Tend to sell out every league game though.

Yeah but your support is proportionate to the league you're in, so it's not fair to criticize comparatively.

I understand the rules with the two footed tackle and all, but he didn't even touch Lescott. I didn't see Kompany's so I can't say to it, but that was never a red for Johnson.
Dzeko should be punished for that embarrassing dive. That's pathetic.
Edit: Only saw the last few minutes. Haha what the fuck Joe Hart were those saves just unbelievable or what? Dude on my phone giving updates said two world class saves in the first 15.

Nasri won the argument, I'd rather be top of the league than win the first leg of a game 1-0.

Liverpool fans shouldn't be talking though.

I know what you mean. I've often thought I'd shout shit to footballers if I saw them, but I reckon if I ever did I'd bottle it and probably just be friendly.

Damn it, we could have done something special.
I once made a mate of mine believe that Andy Carroll had got a straight red in an England game for punching someone, because he went to the toilet when he got subbed, it took him like 2 days to realize it was a lie.

Maybe he thought they were fans and just wanted to talk to him, so he tried to be nice and let them. Can't really call him a moron for that.

I didn't really like Nasri when he was at Arsenal, but I like him now.
