Manchester City got a hard game tomorrow and have got injuries worries and lost the Toure brothers so hopefully that helps Liverpool out and we can get a decent result for the return leg at Anfield. But yes it will still be a hard game, need to try and keep it down to at least a goal deficit.

If it went to penalties, I wouldn't be confident at all. Reina is in shocking form penalty-wise, can't even remember his last save. Hart would save every one of ours.

If we hold them to a 1 goal victory, that would set us up with a strong chance of advancing at Anfield.

That logic doesn't hold with City's strikeforce. We need to be in front of them on aggregate or at least level if we are going through.
