And i'd much rather he play on the wing then van Persie. Besides, our wingers work differently, they link up more and basically don't cross so it's not like he'd be a proper winger.
Ruin the career of Bendtner? It was the wing, or no game time at all, and playing on the wing helped him develop. Arshavin should have played centrally too, but Fabregas was ahead of him anyway.

As stated above, Arsenal don't really play wingers so to say. They're more like wide forwards.
Playing Bendtner out wide has actually improved his overall ability as an attacker ? Arsene made Bendtner the player he is today.

I think Wenger has said he'll get his chance in the middle eventually. At the moment, he's being played on the wing so he gets games, and to help him develop as a player. van Persie started off on the wings for Arsenal and in Holland, and now look at him. Obviously different types of players, but it helped develop RvP, and it is helping develop Walcott. He's only 22, he has plenty of time left to move into a strikers role..
