Skrtel was fantastic but I wish next game I don't sit next to pundits like always.

After today's match, Daniel Agger completed 10 full matches for the first time in his Liverpool career.

Liverpool started to pick up the pace when Stevie came on, Carroll was making some decent runs also Spearing should have got MOTM.Viva Ronaldo 7 wrote:Didnt watch the game, how was the performance from both teams etc? All I know is the scoreline and Gerrard got MOTM according to people on facebook.

I don't think Gerrard deserved MOTM. Bellamy or Skrtel should have got it.

Carroll and Gerrard looks a good partnership by the way. Shame about Carroll's touch letting him down, was a great ball by Gerrard.
I'm just delighted he's back.
Dreading City away though.

Fuck off. Do not want.
Unless he wants to sit on the bench. But then we would have Coates and Carragher on the bench too.

Rubbish Why on earth would we waste money on a CB who couldn't get into our first team and can't touch our bench because of Coates and Carragher?

Would be shocked if we were after a defender in January. Need attacking options if anything.

Carra, Coates and Cahill on the bench/reserves
triple C, would never happen though, waste of wages.

Cahill is English, so he automatically costs Liverpool £25m minimum.

I think it's possible, Dalglish will probably crack a stiffy at the idea of a cheap english player.

Bullshit. Agger and Skrtel are the best partnership in the League right now, and with Carragher and Coates as back up, we definitely don't need a centre-back. He looks like a weirdo anyway. Like he's stupid.

I would think it more likely that Unted try to hijack the deal, with all of their problems. They seemingly have dozens of good CBs that always get injured.

You'll get flamed for that. But I;m sort of with you with an openly biased agreement. It's also down to how solid we are as an entire defensive unit. Since Johnsons come back he doesn't seem as much of a liability and Enrique has just been immense.Scott MacDougall wrote:Bullshit. By our first game after the window opens, we'll have Ferdinand, Jones, Smalling and Evans fit, barring accidents. Saying that, 3 of those often play in other positions because Ferguson has left us woefully short on numbers at Full Back and on quality in Central Midfield. Can't see us battling Chelsea for Cahill's signature though, signing Alex would be more likely.

I thought Smalling was out of action for three months, or was that just a media fabrication?ResurrectionRooney wrote:InGlennyWeTrust wrote:I would think it more likely that Unted try to hijack the deal, with all of their problems. They seemingly have dozens of good CBs that always get injured.

You guys desperately need at least one full back. I can't think of any possibly being available, unless you take a punt on Glen Johnson or Aly Cissokho.

He had Tonsillitis, which the Daily Mail 'mistook' for glandular fever. What I wouldn't give for John O'Shea to come back - Midfielder, Centre-back, Full-back, Hero.

Yeah, he bounced out Wes Brown because Wes got drunk in America and called Ferguson a cunt in Summer of 2010. Long memory that man, although obviously not long enough to remember the unwarranted abuse he used to dole out to people like Patrick Barclay, approaching him and saying 'You're a Cunt', much to Mr. Barclay's surprise.
