He was anticipating a tackle, at least, that is what I hope. It would hurt me to the core if Dalglish had corrupted English football to the extent that even Park cynically dives to achieve an extra goal when we are winning by several.

Suarez and Tevez would be a good comparison also.

Nah, Tevez is a far better player when he can be arsed. Shit attitude at times though.

There was virtually no contact. I can see where RR is coming from with the "attempting to avoid a collision" argument, but that could excuse about half of the dives nowadays.

Just seen it again, OK there was minimal contact and obviously a dive, but it was still a foul so it's difficult to criticise him for that.

He was doing the decent thing and helping the referee make the correct decision.

Suarez is better all around but berbatov's a better finisher.

How is Suarez better all round? He's better at dribbling into blind alleys, racism, diving and doing tricks, but when it comes to attributes like passing, heading, volleying and shooting Berbatov is better. For me that makes him a better all round player, even if Suarez is a bit more visually impressive.

Berbatov is a legend, always a home for him in Tottenham
