Yeah it looked nice indeed. But he was back to the goal, with an overhead kick you just do it on instinct and pray it hits the target. There's no way you even have time to think which corner you want to aim for, let alone actually try execute it.

And for the record, you are also making assumptions. Only the blockhead himself will know, and he'll take it to the grave.

I'm assuming nothing, for all I know he could have been aiming for the crowd, but to be honest, if it was one of your lot you wouldn't even think of that, which is why I'm defending him.
