Can't remember who it was but earlier this season when asked about set-pieces one of our players (probably Adam) said that the players decide among themselves on the pitch who takes free-kicks/penalties depending on who feels the most confident.

We lacked a defensive midfielder, because that midfield was all over the place. No one covering for the full backs when they attack, and Wigan had far too much time in front of the back four. Never seen a team so far this season, have so many shots (with space around them) in front of the back four.
