Why is racism different to any other form of superficial abuse?

The way that Dalglish and Liverpool have conducted themselves has been absolutely shameful.

wow that is way too harsh if it was a player other then Suarez this wouldn't have happened. People probably say stuff to eachother all the time.

Re: Suarez banned for eight games.
O my fucking god What a truly awful statement, this is no where near the end of this. Liverpool will play the innocent party even if they are found to be guilty. I wonder if they will ever apologise to Evra and Manchester United?
Also, what is the need for this paragraph?
Also, what is the need for this paragraph?
We would also like to know when the FA intend to charge Patrice Evra with making abusive remarks to an opponent after he admitted himself in his evidence to insulting Luis Suarez in Spanish in the most objectionable of terms. Luis, to his credit, actually told the FA he had not heard the insult.

Not to mention, Suarez has a record as long as your arm. Not a racist record, but still not a nice one.
Ah yes, so Suarez used a word in his native language, perfectly acceptable within his culture. However, this word sounds similar to the word 'negro' the Spanish word for black, which Britons stole as a racial term to describe black people.
How silly of Suarez, he should have studied the history of our language and ensured that no mix-ups like this could have happened.
Like I said. Hernandez used it, so did that Thiago from Barcelona. I duly expect them to see similar bans.
You don't get any points for negligence.

I was just about to say this, it's all "But what about this incident". It also seems poorly put together.
I'm no expert on statements, but that's awful.

Anyway, the rooney thing is no different. We're still taking him even though he may only play one game.
He hardly disrespected the events at Hillsborough. What Suarez has done is much worse.
easy to say that though, only one who knows for sure is suarez himself. you also didn't address the rooney point.

Don't think any of that statement will go down well with the FA.

All Evras fault for speaking out
Also, this: Luis himself is of a mixed race family background as his grandfather was black. He has been personally involved since the 2010 World Cup in a charitable project which uses sport to encourage solidarity amongst people of different backgrounds with the central theme that the colour of a person's skin does not matter; they can all play together as a team.
Pointless section. Trying to make him look non-racist.

Have to agree with RR. Been thoroughly disapointed with Liverpool and the way they've conducted themselves.

"He has played with black players and mixed with their families whilst with the Uruguay national side and was Captain at Ajax Amsterdam of a team with a proud multi-cultural profile, many of whom became good friends."
There we have it, Suarez is not racist.

Unsurprising really, it seems very reactionary and it was published pretty quickly when liverpool are usually last on the scene. If this was a considered response it would be much shorter like others.

The FA's decision to appeal the decision was wrong, but it is different from what Suarez has done. There's a difference between getting sent off for a terrible challenge and being racist towards another player.
