Also Bayern dont need Lewandowski, they have Gomez.

Sounds like Ribery doesn't want to be replaced.

He would not, from what I have seen Mario Gotze usually plays on the right slightly more narrow than a traditional winger or in a central role behind the striker.I am sure he can play on the left also but I doubt he will.

I just think Ribery is trying to help keep Robben in the starting XI because with Robben they have a slick nickname in Robbery but if Gotze starts playing on the right then what? Ribotze?

    Would be an outstanding signing.

Hardly: 1 premiership goal in a season and a half. This sounds a more realistic and viable target for Southampton.

NEIL LENNON last night slapped a £35million price tag on Gary Hooper’s head after the striker notched his 16th goal of the season in the 2-1 win over Dundee United.
As MailSport revealed last week, Southampton are keen to snap up Hooper and the Championship club had a £4m bid rejected 48 hours ago.

See what I mean about once someone moves to Scotland they end their career? They are basically forced to stay at the club because the club thinks they are bigger than what they are.

You're view that players end their careers when they move to Scotland has no substance to it at all. Just stop posting, seriously. You never contribute anything of any value.

£35M is a fair price anyway.

The only thing that pricetag does is stop anyone from buying him.

Yes it does. Overrate your players in a shit league and no one will buy them for silly prices. At least when prices are inflated in the PL the player still plays in the best league in the world if he doesn't get his move.

No idea what you're laughing at. It's between La Liga and the PL, PL is the best league according to performance in Europe.

35M for someone playing in scotland is like putting 100M pricetag on a player in some of the bigger leagues, it's basically a "we're not selling" statement.

Most money, best performance over the past few years in Europe, great attendances, great players.

The only way Spain is ahead of England is in players because they have the 2 best in the world. Our league is way more competitive.

This. It's like how La Liga clubs put 70-80M pricetags on their players.

    1. Having the most money does not mean you have the best league in the world

    2. Better performance over the past few years in Europe?

Champions League winners 2008-09 = Barcelona
Champions League winners 2009-10 = Inter
Champions League winners 2010-11 = Barcelona

This year in terms of quality, the defending champions Manchester United couldn't get through one of the easier groups in the Champions League and will play in the Europe League. So will United's only challenge to the title, Manchester City, who also failed to make it out of their group. If, this year, there is to be one team to challenge them, so far it looks like Spurs. The team who was put out of the Europa League and finished behind Rubin Kazan and Paok Salonika.

    3. Attendances? You have better attendances but only marginally.

    4. Great players? La Liga has the best players in the world, sorry.

Saying La Liga is better than the EPL is like saying Kit-Kat is better than Coffee Crisp. Both are great, Kit-Kat might nudge it, but the difference in class is negligible.

You're such an idiot. Money is a massive factor in attracting the best players, having the best stadiums and being known worldwide.

Coefficients say England > Spain. It isn't about 1 team in Europe, it's about how they all do collectively.

Attendances - Again you focus on the biggest club, moronic thing to do. England average over 5k more on average. This alone proves EPL's lower clubs are better clubs than La Liga's lower ones.

I already admitted La Liga have the best 2 and probably edge it overall, not as clear cut as you seem to think though.

At the end of the day, you've proven you A)biased to Celtic B) Hate England so your contributions to this topic and certain other one's aren't convincing. Me on the other hand, I have no bias to anyone seeing as I don't support a club currently and i've made it known I don't like the majority of the EPL or the way it goes about certain things.

I'm still smart enough to know that the PL is the best league in the world right now.
