In what way exactly?[/quote]
In the way that all Liverpool players are better than any other players in the world.

I don't care about age, there isn't a massive age gap just based on quality.Laurencio wrote:Filippo Inzaghi wrote:Who would you guys rather Silva or Ozil

Can't decide if pushed probably Silva.

Silva > Ozil.
No, he isn't. He's superior to David Silva.

Re: Left footed XI
I'd say Özil, depends for who exactly though. For Arsenal I'd rather have Özil, Silva who needs a free role to shine will just be in RVP's way when he drops deep whereas Özil will link up with the wingers and RVP

Exactly. Not really much of a gap. But beacuse of his age Özil will probably have one or two seasons more on that level than Silva. Hence, Özil because of his age.

Silva > Ozil.
Do you even watch Spanish football? They are pretty much equal in terms of ability atm.

Only negatives that can really be leveled at Ozil is that he doesn't have great fitness and that he can sometimes be too direct he doesn't always drop into midfield enough and he doesn't slow down the game, always passing forward.

He's not really injury prone though. He does prefer to play the through ball, but I've seen him play short and keep the ball on several occasions, most notably for Germany. I've also seen him slow down the game quite a few times with real madrid.

Re: Left footed XI
Being injury prone and not having great fitness are two separate things, I'm not saying he never does these things, he doesn't do them enough for Madrid though Valencia away this season was a great example in my opinion when he was playing on the wing instead of slowing down the game and keeping the ball he would just waste the ball and Valencia would try counter-attacking it's no surprise that Mourinho went with Diarra, Alonso and Khedira in midfield in a game like that.Laurencio wrote:Filippo Inzaghi wrote:I was supposed to say 'there isn't a massive age gap between them just base it on quality.'

Oh you mean his stamina? I can agree to that. I'm not sure I would say he's "too direct", but his style is certainly more direct than the average spaniard, I would agree. I do disagree that he doesn't slow down the play enough though. He has games where he's not as brilliant with those decisions, but all in all I think he does a good job of controlling the pace of the game in the final third.

At Arsenal I'd rather have Oezil personally.
Oezil and Silva are superior football players than Suarez.
