He does now but at the start of the season he didn't. Only in the past couple of games has he had a consistent back four infront of him.

Oh yes, and Cech has this defence that everyone loves to criticize in front of him.

He's a goalkeeper, not superman. Just because Reina has made more saves mean nothing, and Cech has played games outside of the EPL too.

Stats don't tell the whole story.

Do they take into account how many shots both keepers have parried away when they should have caught them? Do they take into account the safety of the goalkeeper i.e. Where they parry the shots away to? Their distribution? Their positioning, reflexes and reactions? The amount of mistakes they make?

Chances conceded is massively in Cech's favour, as is High crosses caught (lol he can't catch after his head injury!!!!), missed 3 less crosses than Reina, Made no errors, Reina has made 3.

If anything, the stats are in Cech's favour.

Half of those were in one game behind a shambles of a defence as well, and 2 of the others were in a game where the whole team was incredibly complacent for most of it. See, look at some of those, the first 7 don't mean a thing, that all depends on how the defence is playing a head of you.

But look at the rest, where it actually matters, Cech has come for more crosses and successfully caught than Reina has, he has also only missed one, whereas Reina has missed 4.

Edit, this hasn't been updated since the last set of games either. Only know that due to the penalties one with De Gea.

Fair enough he has been better than him so far this season but say he's overrated is laughable. Especially when Reina beasted all the GKS in his first couple of seasons picking up the golden glove award.

Also don't forget that Reina had an op in the summer and didn't have much of a pre season. Over the last couple of games he's found some form and is looking back to his best. Will be interesting to see who comes out on top at the end of the season.

Ferdinand shits on Kompany, and O'Shea captained his club to the Champions League Final just a few months ago. Drogba is still a world class striker. In any case, I don't support Sunderland or Chelsea, so how could that be a result of bias? Rooney actually scored in a Champions League Final in May, that's something that van Rapist will never do because he's not good enough to even reach one, and a few months of good form don't change that. Rooney's not in great goalscoring form at the moment, but that's largely down to Ferguson playing him in central midfield because he was too stubborn/deluded to buy an actual midfielder in the summer. Carrick is a good player, and there aren't many top central midfielders in England at the moment.

How is it laughable to say he is overrated? You condemning me for thinking Cech is better than him is clear evidence of how overrated he is, a lot of Liverpool fans think he is the best in league, a few even think he should start fro Spain, of course he is overrated.

Picking up the Golden glove isn't really down to him though, it's 50/50 between him and his defence, RR picked up on this before, you can deny it, but Liverpool do seem to put a lot of emphasis on picking up that award.
