We would have had to face City in the Final anyway, so it doesn't matter really.

That begs the question, what is easier? Beating them over 2 legs or in a one off final? I say in a one game final.

Cardiff has gotten some sweet draws.

If you want to win trophies, you have to beat good teams. It's as simple as that. It's down to the team on matchday whether we win. Prove yourselves, lads.

You'll lose the league game and go through over 2 legs I reckon.

We're missing Lucas though. He was instrumental to our Chelsea and Man City results. Without him, we'll get rolled over. I'm actually dreading Fulham now. It's going to become clear to all of us how important Lucas is.

It's a lot of responsibility for Spearing if he is to become our main defensive midfielder for the rest of the season. The last few months when he's been in the side he's had Lucas to help him out defensively. How many games has he actually played without Lucas?

The agent of in-demand Chilean winger Eduardo Vargas claims Arsenal and Liverpool are among the teams chasing his client's signature.

The 22-year-old is hotly tipped to be on his way to Europe in the New Year, with a clutch of clubs thought to be readying January bids.

Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan have already opened talks, while a number of sides in England could also be set to make their move.

Arsenal and Liverpool are reported to have already expressed an interest, but there may be others to follow.

The Chile international's representative admits discussions with potential suitors are ongoing, but insists no agreement has been reached as yet.

"The clubs are speaking a lot but little progress has been made," Diego Cativa told supervasco.com.

"We are talking with AC Milan and Inter Milan, who have made proposals, as well as with Liverpool, Arsenal and a number of other clubs.

"Interest from Vasco de Gama? They cannot compete with the clubs that are already interested."
