I'v seen deadman wonderland it was good will try Gintama tho thanksEl Pipita wrote:If you want to laugh your ass of and enjoy good fights then just watch Gintama, it's a comedy anime that tends to have damn good fights too besides that it has stuff of other animes such as One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Dragonball, so one moment you could see someone use "Gomu Gomu No" the other moment he comes with "Kamehameha" it sounds all weird but it's damn funny and has really good fights like mentioned above. It has loads of episodes though but this is one anime which can be picked up from any episode, I know loads of people that started at the second part straight away.
Deadman Wonderland is good too it isn't really funny but it kinda has a really great story and good fights, it's a shame it's so short but they're going to make a season 2 most likely.

Finished watching To Love Ru last night, was nothing special (Ending felt like it was rushed) but then again I wasn't expecting much.

Re: Anime Thread
I do that, even if something isn't great I still watch it until the end. I recently finished Utawarerumono, ending was really rushed, still kinda enjoyable if you know the story beforehand.
Recently started watching Sengonku Basara. Doesn't really seem like my kind of thing but I'll probably watch it. I think it's the battles that a re a bit too much for my taste. It's like these Samurai dudes suddenly turn into Super Sayans and shit. It's a bit too much.

^ That's another one that ended too early and has a fucked up ending which never happened in the manga.

Many disagree, considering it even beat Dragonball in sales and such. And it's only halfway through, best has yet to come. Watch it bro you'll like it.

Re: Anime Thread
Oh yah that's the second season. Watch the second season, then after read To Love Ru Darkness Manga. It's the continuation from the second season.
The series overall isn't that great, but it's probably the best harem anime with considerable ecchi out there. Speaking of... why is it so difficult to make a reasonable harem series with ecchi? Doesn't seem too hard of a task(I bet I could easily write one myself), but instead every single one focuses mostly on how to make a scene as ecchi as possible for the biggest fanbase possible... Perverted ice cream.
edit: ice cream-s is ice cream now? Might as well make Polack, Guido, Brit, Canuck and Yank into ice cream as well.

Re: Anime Thread
So I've finished Kenichi, will catch up on Manga soon but I need something new to watch. I like anything that has a decent storyline not too bothered about the fights as long as the storyline is good. And I like swordsmen/swordswomen so it should have that.

Re: Anime Thread
Anime that I've watched:
Blood+
Code Geass/Code Geass R2
Death Note
Eureka Seven
Fullmetal Alchemist/FMA Brotherhood
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG
Samurai Champloo
Animes that I'm considered watching:
Trinity Blood
Ones that I aren't on the original list but are must watches:
Code Geass/Code Geass R2
Eureka Seven (kind of weird but if you go through it you'll like it)
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG
Ghost in the Shell is ridiculously confusing unless you pay close attention and are sometimes are willing to read the wiki summaries. Some episodes are stand alone and others are part of the complex that ties the series together. Also, the shows references J.D. Salinger and Catcher in the Rye often so it really grabbed my interest.
All the anime I've listed are ones that adultswim has shown or currently shows.
Here are some others that might interest you guys:
Bleach (was great at the beginning but now is just full of fillers)
Durarara!! (I've only watched like an episode or two but it seems good)

Re: Anime Thread
Decided to put off watching Gintama and One Piece until the semester is done. So many episodes, man.
Dealing with some shorter series now. Fairy Tail is actually quite good but the one that has most impressed me is Nurarihyon no Mago. I was hooked from the first episode. Definitely a must watch. Accidentally started season 2 first because for some reason either season is under a different name, so watch out for that.

Re: Anime Thread
Drop Fairy Tail while you can it is a fail copy of One Piece, if you've seen both you'll get what I mean except Fairy Tails storyline makes no sense, it starts off good but it gets worse and worse that loads of people have completely dropped it I don't want to spoil you.Rei Andros wrote:Decided to put off watching Gintama and One Piece until the semester is done. And just skip the One Piece fillers there aren't too many though out of the 520 episodes there's about 70 fillers. You could also just read the manga till they get to the New World(second part of One Piece)
Also Gintama is one which can be picked up at any episode and you'll understand it, I'd personally start at the second version of Gintama.

Ok, Kenichi is too sick, I kinda like it more than Hajime No Ippo which makes Kenichi my second favourite.

Just read a manga about incest.
Gotta say though, really made me think. Besides, apart from the incest, the plot was pretty interesting.
