Do tell.
@Cam: Try Gankutsuou, Aoi Bungaku, or Stein's Gate.
Discarded SOA after they escaped from the first world. Couldn't be bothered.
@Che: Never got much into Gunslinger Girl. That Lolita thing was too much for me.
Right now I'm following Code Breaker, Hunter x Hunter 2011, and Zetsuen No Tempest as currently running shows not too far in.

Is this real life?
The animation for the wolves looks a bit jerky, but everything else is...gorgeous.
FFXIII might have had a gunsword, but a scythe-gun is much cooler.

I don't know, always knew Al was going to get his body back, and was happy about that... but I thought Father was beat too easily, the whole series is about this nationwide transmutation circle, he uses it and everyone's soul is gone... but 10 minutes later they are back, wasn't feeling that. I know all these anime end with the good guy winning, but I wanted to see a bigger and more drawn out ending, I like despair.

Pft. I can think of ten animes off the top of my head that has a shitty ending for our heroes.dena wrote:Rei Andros wrote:

I won't mention them by name because I'd be spoiling them to anyone who hasn't seen them yet.

What is that anyway? A anime? Game?

Re: Anime Thread
Anime/CGI series by the looks of it. Not sure when it'll be released. There are three more trailers to come out: White, Black, and Yellow. That was the one for Red.

Re: Anime Thread
Haven't checked it out even though I've seen it. Took in 1/2 eps of Area no Kishi a couple of weeks ago.
I declined to look at the anime Magi because of the overly cutesy characters that I saw. Those are usually crap. How wrong I was. I decided to give the first episode a try and got hooked.

Re: Anime Thread
I've been looking for a new anime since Gunslinger Girl took that a left turn out of nowhere the second season.
I don't even know where to turn to now. Pretty much have watched everything that interest me.

Re: Anime Thread
You've recommended that before but I don't know why the idea of watching it doesn't appeal to me. I mean, it looks a bit like Cyber Punk so I would expect to like it.
I'm just going to jump in and watch it. Maybe later tonight or tomorrow.

Re: Anime Thread
Just finished Night Raid 1931. Forgot how interesting it was. Put it off halfway through months ago.
Dat ending. Those feelings.
It's different. A spy anime, but with the spies having super powers. The powers are surprisingly not the focus of the show.

Finished watching Last Exile recently. Was pretty cool. It seemed kinda Steam Punk-esq.

Haven't watched anything lately. Exhausted everything I wanted to watch on Netflix and there really isn't anything out there that interest me.

Re: Anime Thread
They're a lot out there, but I discarded most of them. Could give you some names to try on for size.
Steins;Gate, Code Breaker, Magi, Speed Grapher, Casshern Sins, Cencoroll, Night Head Genesis, Katanagatari, Fate Stay Night.
Latest one I watched was Katanagatari. Had a couple of things I didn't like (the utterly useless main female character being the worst) but it had enough good things to keep me interested.

Re: Anime Thread
Once the latest one gets a decent leak I'm going through a marathon:
Evangelion 1.0
Evangelion 2.0
Evangelion 3.0
Then I'll judge how good they were compared to the original. Because I have nothing better to do

Re: Anime Thread
Started watching Zetman.
I like the art style and the story is interesting enough. Rich people fight these genetically altered people for sport. Of course they get out and shit hits the fan. The story follows one of these genetically modified humans who escaped when he was just a baby.
