Thats what I mean so there's no form to go by. Just a couple games which he was "ok" in.

I've always said Gerrard is the best midfielder i've seen in the EPL, at his best inspirational, unstoppable. I don't think he has that anymore though and is abit wasteful.

sure, you will say its probably forged or created, fake etc, but this message was sent to me 4 days ago, infact i have 5 of them from the great ryantaylorforengland. maybe mal as the admin can read our messages and see for himself

another excuse im sure u will have ready is oh why wait till now, well my friend, this i have made multiple complaints in the past that the message doesnt tell you or let you know that you have a new message well enough., the green coloring is to basic and i have missed many messages before. this accounts for 2 days, i saw these message 2 days, why wait another 2 days?

well my friend, i got a lot of enjoyment originally from the image, even though it is quite disgusting in its accuracy, so i wanted to wait till i saw alan online, i never saw him at the same time as me up until now, but it seems obvious now that i was not the only person that recieved this brutal message from ryantaylorforengland

Would rather have Wilshere actually, tryin to be unbiased as possible aswell.

Gerrard was better in his prime i think but right now id have to say Wilshere.

Unfair to judge, Wilshere has hardly had a "career" yet.

Wilshere already has better technique and passing than Gerrard though, so who knows to what unimagineable heights Wilshere will soar

To wrap this up, I would rather have Wilshere anyday, for the numerous years he will offer. If you make it a Gerrard at his prime vs present Wilshere, no contest. But then Wilshere isn't quite at his prime.

I like how the majority of Liverpool fans in here are discussing this in a level-headed manner, comparing the 2 players properly whereas the majority of Arsenal fans are blindly backing Whilshere, posting faces and saying the thread is a joke because Whilshere defo > Gerrard.

Goes to show which set of supporters actually HAS the chip on their shoulders afterall.

Its a stupid thread that's why. Gerrard V Wilshere could mean different things. Career wise Gerrard has been better even if you consider the trophy's he won to be illegitimate.

Completely different players. Gerrard is a more all-round player and Wilshere is a more 'silky' player who has the potential to turn into the next Xavi/Iniesta.

At this moment in time, I think Wilshere would probably be the better player to have in your team.

Gerrard, whilst still influential on the pitch, is unfortunately not quite the player he used to be. A bit injury/infection prone too atm.

My vote goes to Whilshere. I wish Liverpool signed him.

Wilshere is a much better player today than Gerrard, that's beyond any reasonable doubt. Gerrard hasn't even played well on a consistent basis for over 2 years, in which time Wilshere has emerged as one of the brightest lights in terms of English talent. He's just as good as Gerrard was at his best, Gerrard has just played in a position where it was easier for him to have a dramatic influence on the game, but Wilshere's influence is much more important, he does the one thing Gerrard never could, he dictates the tempo of the match.
