So does anyone feel wingers are shit on this game? I just tend to convert my strikers who are fast, good dribblers, have good off the ball movement and have decent creativity into wingers and play them as inside forwards.

I think wingers are alright. I use Shaqiri more as inside forward and he's got quite a few goals and assists. I try to keep Cazorla as more of a traditional winger, running to the byline. It wasn't working at first but now he has an average match rating of 7.82. Doesn't get enough assists though.

I do. They don't do themselves justic tbh. I noticed that all of the play more or less happened with my midfielders and running strikers (poachers). So I changed my forumation complettely around to a very narrow style attack when I took over Aston Vila (dead last at the time)

Liverpool 2-1 (Third) and Spurs 4-0. I don't even notice that the wingers aren't there, there's absolutely no problem on the wings. Had a few occasions where Di Maria skipped past my fullback, but other than that it's substantially more solid than it was with wingers. I have no idea why, but it seems that playing with wingers limits your attacking and defensive ability.
