The Football Manager Chat Thread!

Because that is realistic.Pippo Inzaghi wrote:polska. wrote:Apparently, it's possible to mod in a J-League this season. Joy!
Thought you may be interested to know that I beat Lech Poznan 2-1 with Pyunik of Armenia
Annoys me how much SI underrates Ekstraklasa. They have the league's reputation becoming the 58th best in Europe after one season.

I also won my group in the Champions League and get Barcelona in the next round.

Struggling to play with Carroll.
In mid December and he has only scored 3 goals for me.

Do what Liverpool did and make £10million bids for Jelavic & Naismith, will probably get rejected though. Will need to bid at least £25million.

Nice team, I played a similar formation at Ajax, Alderweireld was a great ball playing centre back, his passing increased to 19 when I was there, I can imagine him being a class libero too.

Buy Jelavic (srs). Bet you any money he is World Class. Try and prove me wrong ...
Will probs get him for a couple of million.

For one on one situations, what's better? Rounding the keeper or placing shots.

Attacking coach doesn't seem to think Remy or Ayew will be able to learn that. Oh well, will sell Remy soon anyway when he hits his peak, better start looking for his replacement.

Would probably depend on attributes.James wrote:For one on one situations, what's better? Rounding the keeper or placing shots.
High dribbling would probably be better for rounding keeper, high finishing/composure would be better for placing.
Assuming both are in one-on-one situations.

I always do rounding the keeper, even if they are slow as fuck.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Uh, second goal conceded because my striker was marking their other centre back. Won the game 4-2 but this is fucking annoying.

Great minds think alike.
Shall we compare saves?
