After seeing polska's post i think the same. Newcastle vs Sunderland always seems to have an amazing atmosphere from what i've seen on the tele.

I wouldn't put that in your article. There are some families who have different members supporting one or another, but to say 'most', you'd need some pretty good evidence to back that up.

Makes me laugh since only United seem to win at the Lane regularly now. You have to go back to September 2008 for Arsenal's last win in the league at Tottenham, August 2005 for Chelsea's and May 2008 for Liverpool. I know Arsenal won at Tottenham in the Carling Cup last year but the name suggests 3 points which means wins in the league.

United have won only one of our last 4 fixtures at Shite Hart Lane, 2009 with 10 men.

Still more recently than the others. Wow Shite Hart Lane how mature of the great RR, someone who I thought was above all that.

Because of the trouble in the link below police only allowed us to sell a certain amount of home tickets the following game
Im saying Blues v Villa because im biased but theres no way Liverpool & United should be on the list, yes they play near one another but it's City v United and Everton v LPool.

Sunderland v Newcastle is a good choice because both teams have massive stadiums and are still able to get a solid number of fans everytime.

It's still arguably the biggest game in England, would look silly listing rivalries and not including that one.

Won't deny it being a huge game but it's hard to say whether it's a rivalry (like United v City) or just a game of hatred (similar to United & Leeds).
I know they are not English teams but Swansea and Cardiff should be mentioned as they are in our leagues....unfortunately

He's asking for the "Top 5 football rivalries in England", it's in there, arguably right at the top, no doubt about it.

Re: Top 5 football rivalries in England
North London Derby is miles above the rest imo. Just look at the crazy results through the years, the 4-4 a few years ago. Crazy fucking legendary goals by people like Bentley, Lennon, Walker, and Rose. 3-3 draw last year and a 3-2 tottenham win. That shit never gets old. As much as I hate Arsenal, I couldn't fucking live without them.
