That makes the min. expectation top 4.

Well that's ridicculous. Expectations should be based on squad, finance and morale. Not reputation.

Everything in FM is based on reputation.

He's got 165 PA.

Shame his high pace eats up most of his CA.

Managing Liverpool is hard work. I have to base my entire team around either Suarez or Carroll. And the only good defensive midfielder I have is Lucas Leiva. If he gets injured I'm screwed :p

Edit: Played a reserve side against Bolton in the cup, expected to get beat, but got hammered beyond belief. Wilson, Coates and Wisdom are never getting near that team ever again.

Edit 2: Team starting to play well now. Even Carroll is getting in on the action

Erick Torres is keeping Carroll out of the side.

I've given both Wilson and Coates a few chances and every time they've disappointed me. Almsot cost me two games, which is simply unacceptable. Thankfully I had Carroll run back and play as a Libero to make up for their complete lack of defensive ability. Surprisngly good in defense that carroll

Downing is a massive let down on the left wing for me.

Play him as an advanced playmaker with support duty, manually change his options to crossing often, throughball sometimes, stick to byline and aim at carrol. Gets a decent ammount of assists that way. Took me a while to get my attacking trio of him, Suarez and Carrol working properly.

Deep lying playmaker. Defend.

He runs the show all the time. Amazing passing percentage every game, and always has high passing stats.

Thinking of getting M'vila. He will cost £25 million+

Lucas and M'Vila as my two 'defensive' midfielders. They both are very good at breaking up play, and both have good passing stats.

I'd go for Sissoko instead tbh. M'Vila is great in the defensive midfield position, but Sissoko is much more capeable in playing as a central midfielder as well. Personally I've found Sven Bender from Dortumnd to be the closest thing to Lucas I can find within an "acceptable" price range. If I get any money, and do not get sacked, I'm going to go for him.
