Everton away, without Rooney and I'm not sure if Nani will make it back in time, step up Dimitar.

Oh my, FA Cup semi final draw just came up and I got either Bristol City or Ipswich, the other semi is Liverpool v City, going to be a big final if I get there.

What network game is this?
Fuark, just went 1-0 up v Everton with a lovely goal from Young and Osman just equalised with a bullet into the top corner from like 25 yards.

That one
Edit: Yay Hernandez stole the ball from an Arsenal defender, took on the goalkeeper and put it into an open net

Still... I've been handing him chances on a silver platter and he can't put them away

Have you tried him just behind the striker like in a Trequartista(sp?)Laurencio wrote:Snoopy wrote:What is his workrate?

Is Nani actually good this year?

He's good for me, has 10 goals and 11 assists in 35 games, but he has hit the bar far too often.Jord wrote:Is Nani actually good this year?
Fuark, got Lille in the CL Quarter final and if I beat them, and City beat Dortmund, I have City in the CL Semi Final, possibly the FA Cup final, and in the title race with them.

Yeah. He just doesn't take his chances... He's OK as a third midfielder playing up front, but Hernandez does that and kicks in with more than a goal per game. It's just frustrating because I want him to succeed

Yeah and far too often they're weak shitty shots, when in real life his strike is phenomenal.Laurencio wrote:Nani shoots too much
Saying that, just starting Nani up front v QPR at home with Rooney out and he went through, went round the keeper and tucked in, lovely from him.
Sometimes he can do this too, not sure what the quality is like for you but it's shit for me:

Yeah he did that against City in mine I was delighted with him at that point. Since then though I've rarely been delighted with him. Thinking about replacing him with a more "supportive" winger type to be totally honest. Think that would benefit Rooney and Hernandez, as I see Nani refusing to let the ball go when they are clear through on goal...
Quality is not an issue for me considering I always play with the awesome dots

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
39 minutes gone v QPR I'm 4-0 up, Hernandez hattrick and Nani with one, Nani also assisted one of Hernandez's goals as well.
FUCK, 40 minutes gone 5-0 Hernandez again.

I should be playing Morrison and Pogba against weaker sides... they need match experience... but I keep forgetting..

So far I've made over £5.8m in profit this season, and it's only November.

Well done!
I'm losing 15 odd million a month, and all because I have to pay the Glazer's debt....
Oh and Berbatov is clearly a phenomenal championship striker. Tearing Swansea apart.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Fantastic for me, has improved his stats as well, fantastic keeper that I can probably have for about 15 seasons.Laurencio wrote:How is De Gea doing for you?
Same man, gave them both a game once and that's about it, probably end up sending them on loan.Laurencio wrote:I should be playing Morrison and Pogba against weaker sides... they need match experience... but I keep forgetting..
So my front four v QPR was Young Nani Hernandez and Valencia, and the ratings were 9.2, 9.2, 9.8 and 9.0.
QPR = Whipping boys.
