Scenario: World War III

Honestly, someone has quite an imagination.

Really hope it never happens though.

I do think a WW III is possible, but I highly doubt it would begin with a conflict between Pakistan and India. I can see global revolutions more likely than a WW III at this stage.

If anything, a WW III would start out between Israel and Palestine. Maybe by the time, Palestine would have been recognized as an official country. Also several Arab countries would have gone through revolutions that toppled their regimes. Egypt would be on the track if not already at the level of Turkey, causing either a power struggle between Turkey, Egypt, and Iran or a strategic alliance between the three. This would even the playing field between Israel and the rest of the Middle East. Obviously, any conflict between the two sides would draw in the USA and the EU on Israel's side while maybe China and possibly Russia side with the others. One of two things will happen: a nuclear Armageddon or a standstill followed by peace talk negotiations.

But like I said, I see global revolutions occurring before any armed conflicts. Hopefully these revolutions will increase prosperity and reduce hatred between people. At that point, we won't need to fight.

It sure as fuck won't happen like that. The idea of a World War III which doesn't end up with countries being laid waste to with nuclear warheads is incredibly optimistic, there's is no way 'Earthshield' could ever exist without other countries knowing about it.

There won't be any WWIII as no major country will get involved in the squabbles of other smaller nations.

If Pakistan becomes unstable, the West will put in a strike team to disarm Pakistan. Nothing will happen in the middle East because Israel will kick everyone's butts so long as Iran doesn't get involved. And if Iran does get involved, I guarantee you Israel will knock out any Iranian nukes within hours. Turkey won't get involved. The Turkish populace wouldn't allow it, it'd be political suicide for whoever is in charge.

It's a ridiculous name anyway. If Canada's 'States' joined with the USA, the new Country would simply be called the United States of America.

Canada is not a better country. And if surviving as a nation is in their best interests, then joining up with the USA enables that.

I just found the article humorous. If World War III were to occur, it would certainly not happen like that as other members have stated.

Canada and USA are already allies, and nobody has any beef with Canada nor could realistically invade Canada.

Yeah I know that. And if anybody dared fuck with Canada, we would kick their ass. That's my point. In the hypothetical situation of ww3 these noobs were saying canada gains nohting by allying with the USA, when in fact it would guarantee their survival.

I couldnt think of a more retarded thing potically too do than invade Canada, I mean;

1. Get fucked on by the US

2. To get to Canada you have to go through water or through the US (Impossible really with an army)

3. Its cold in parts and armies from hot countries would most likely be incorrectly equipt and therefore suffer.
